Lately Lucy has been going through a very non-cuddly stage. She always wants to be exploring something new, whether it be a toy, my face, or outside, she likes to always be moving. This doesn't leave much time for nestling her head on my shoulder, or quietly snuggling on the couch. Feeling a little cuddle-deprived, I had the genius idea to have her lay with me on the couch while she took her nap. Snuggling comes with the territory of sleeping, so I thought I could fill up on baby snuggles while she took her necessary nap. Plus, she usually sleeps for about 30-40 minutes, so I thought I would catch up on my DVR. My plan went a little too well, as Lucy slept for over 2 hours! There I was pinned to the couch only having at my disposal the items within arms reach. (Notice the below picture was taken with my phone that was in reach rather than the camera that was not.) Oh I got my snuggles in alright, along with 2+ hours of uninterrupted DVR watching! So here is Lucy sleeping on my lap...oblivious to the fact that I'm stealing snuggles ;)
