Dimples

Lucy has a cluster of dimples just to the left of her mouth. They don't show themselves too often. It's only when she smiles just right. I remember seeing those dimples in the hospital when she was just a day old. And now, every time those dimples sink in it instantly takes me back to looking down at her in that tiny hospital room. I was wide-eyed and couldn't believe this tiny little being in front of me would be my daughter forever. The world was moving at its usual fast-paced speed outside those 4 walls, but inside time stood still while I sat there staring at those dimples, falling in love.
