She's late, she's late, for a very important date!

Little Miss Doodle is officially one day late past her due date, which I can't be too surprised about...my side of the family is notorious for being late. Why should she break the trend?

J an I have been on the edge of our seats waiting for the moment when she decides to enter the world. We've been also trying things to coax her out. We spent the weekend walking around the mall and Target. I've been bouncing on my exercise ball as my childbirth teacher advised us. Last night we had some spicy food for dinner. However, after these simple tasks didn't work, I decided to turn it up a notch. This morning when I first woke up, I played Michael Jackson's song "This Is It" for her (how fitting). Then later today, I danced around the house to the entire Lady Gaga Fame Monster CD. The music was turned up loud, I was singing loud, and I didn't stop moving for the entire 8 songs. It has definitely got her moving. I don't think she has stopped moving for the entire hour since I stopped dancing. I figure me sitting and her comfortably sleeping in my belly hasn't done any good yet, so the dancing-induced squirming can't hurt! I'm sure if the neighbors saw a 9-month pregnant me dancing around my house they would have thought I lost my mind...however, that's not too far from the truth! I want her out!!

J heard at work today that eggplant can help a woman go into labor...so we have decided to eat dinner at Olive Garden with me having the eggplant parmesan. (It's not like you have to twist my arm to eat eggplant parmesan from Olive Garden, yum!) We'll keep trying everything in the book to get her out. After all, she certainly isn't getting any smaller in there! Every day she hibernates in my belly, the bigger she gets. OMG, please LMD, get out of my belly! Your mommy and daddy who love you very much can't wait to meet you! We have so much planned for you! Come, come, come!
