Time to start walking!

At my doctor's appointment this week, the doctor told me to "start walking! We want that baby out!" I was shocked by her eagerness to get things moving! I can't believe I'm really at that point of the doctor wanting me to go into labor. It's pretty surreal to know she's just around the corner.

However, I've been starting to panic lately while looking around my house at all the things that need cleaned or attending to before LMD comes. I want the house to be in tip top shape for her arrival. The bad part is I'm mostly too worn out to really do much of it. I need to remember that even if she came today and the kitchen floor was not mopped or the photographs STILL weren't in a photo album, that all that would matter would be that our baby girl is finally here and to soak up ever ounce of her newborn-ness while I can. The house will always need cleaned or organized, but I will only be this pregnant for a few more weeks, and my baby girl will only be a newborn for a short time, and I need to soak it all in while I can.

BUT, I do need to put the carseat in. There is no stamping a smiley face on that one and excusing it from getting done. That's my one goal, my one goal for the weekend. There. It's been said on my blog, therefore I'm obligated to follow through :)

I'll try to keep you updated on my last few weeks of pregnancy. But really, I just can't wait until I get to write the post announcing she's here. I can't wait to see her name printed in big bold letters on the blog under one of her first pictures ever taken. I can't wait to write the blog post describing why we picked her name, what it means to us, and the history behind it. I can't wait to cover the website in pictures of her and her proud family holding her. I guess I just need to start walking!
