Panic to Excitement

I am happy to say that creating a baby registry has gone from,

“Oh my gosh, how in the h-e-double-hockey-sticks am I going to possibly know WHAT to register for and WHICH one to pick?!” (accompanied by sweating palms and armpits).

to

“Oh my gosh, I CAN NOT WAIT for Little Miss Doodle to get here and use all of this stuff!” (accompanied by excitement-induced sweating palms and armpits).

Panic has been replaced by excitement.* Thank God. :)

There is a whole other issue of where we are going to put the loot that comes with a new baby, but we’ll cross that stroller path when we get there. (I predict more sweating to ensue.)


Note: I have not actually created said registry yet, but I am getting closer to knowing what items I want on it .

One more note: When I call it a baby registry, to me it sounds like I’m registering for a baby. I went to the Babies R Us website, and they are indeed calling it “The Baby Registry.” A little misleading, no?


*With this I also have to thank S.S. for her help and guidance in registering for baby items. Her baby is scheduled to make his debut one month from today! Couldn’t be more excited for her!
